What happens if you and the
Opposing Party want to make a change to your current visitation agreement, be
it a temporary or permanent one? If
you both agree to the change, then we strongly recommend the change be
documented in writing. Make the new
wording as specific as possible. Furthermore, we recommend that both parents
sign and date the agreement, and each walk away with a duplicate original. This
process, although cumbersome, will ultimately save you time, money and emotional
grief down the road.
